Good morning, Bill. K8H7VIH here. You know what's more inconvenient than a smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night? A smoke alarm not going off in the middle of the night when it should, because the batteries weren't replaced or the system has failed. That's really inconvenient. Hi, hi. What's going on today? We are in between projects. We got a call last Saturday night from our rent house. The delightful people, good friends that live there, their son and daughter were left home alone. He is 22, so he's not exactly a kid. A call that said that the toilet had backed up into the shower, not good. We called Roto-Rooter out there and $13,000 later we had the problem solved. Not really happy with that kind of price for that, but that's what you have to pay apparently. Plumbers are expensive. They get paid right next to rocket scientists nowadays. A reading of the paper how college graduates are having trouble getting jobs, but plumbers are not. They're in short supply, so this is the nature of the economy. Our own house is going to have new gutters put on after, I guess the house is 35, 38 years old and it's time for new gutters. No, we're not getting the curved over or the capped kind. We're going to get ordinary gutters. They're cheaper and they also get clogged, so we're not going to do that either. Ham related stuff, still keeping track of the Windlink system here at the house. We've moved it from the fire station. We've got a meeting this Wednesday, that's tomorrow. We'll discuss the latest status of the Ares team here in Redmond and try to reformulate our responsibilities and duties and relationships with the city, if any. And that's on the calendar. Have a good day guys and gals. KJ7D-IH. Back to net.
