That is one of the great mysteries because I was looking it up last night because I checked to see what was the latest and it was like 7-9 something something and mine says 8E something something and it says that if you open your case so that the phone sees it and then you close your case and you plug your case into power and then you leave it sit near your phone for like a half hour it's supposed to update but I didn't see an update so whoops a little confusion here on who is doing what on the yard here I'm over at the yard just pulled on and I got in the way of one of the yard guys so yeah it's supposed to update when it's plugged in and has enough power and you know you opened it so that the phone recognized it and then you set the lid without taking the air pods out and you leave it plugged in somewhere near your phone it's supposed to automatically update there's no way to push it that I know of so I thought they were supposed to come up with some way to push it but I haven't seen anything especially when I looked last night because I was asking last night how to do that so other than that I don't know it's a mystery and I'm driving along these trucks trying to find a parking spot and all the ones I saw that I thought were open have cars in them saving the space for the trucks when they come back from doing their shift so I gotta I gotta pull and park down here a little bit further away from the door that's all right um how else was there I was gonna say uh oh that's right I was gonna answer the question in case they didn't come back and I just did but I'm gonna look into it again because my air pods you know I went to the apple website and looked and it said that the latest version of air pods was the seven something and I've got an eight and then I've got the old eight because I've got the lightning you know there's two different update versions there's the one with the lightning case and there's the one with the USB-C case so I was it's always been confusing working with air pods trying to figure out if to up but I'll pass it back to you
