Yeah, well they are memorable spots too like how sometimes I found little spots that I liked that no one else did. There was going into St. Pats where most people were not supposed to be but I could get in because I could talk to the deaf, right, they have a deaf population there and because I could speak to them I could sign to them. I sign into their hands so they know I'm blind because they are going to know real fast that I'm not responding to any of their visual cues and deaf people use a lot of short forms for their visual signs so when they sign into their hands it's very obvious. Anyway, so I could talk to them, right, and they had this laboratory, it was like a science laboratory that a lot of times was vacant. Well it was in the higher level at the school like on the top floor like you take their elevator because they had the disabled equipped elevator and you could take it up to the very top floor and then up there I used to just like bring in my Walkman and you could really get really Dx up there so it was good for a ham aspect because at that time I had like a little radio shack like short wave portable Walkman and later on I gave that off to a girlfriend I was dating at the time that really wanted it, she really wanted it, it was like the highlight of the day. I said here you can have it and I used to pick up everything up there so I used to make every excuse just to cut across that long yard to go in the same path and go up to that room and some of the kids knew what I was up to but they didn't care and I was like okay I'm going to give a deaf person a Walkman but anyways, excuse me let me answer the iron. Okay yeah that's a terrible Helen Keller joke but anyways so on a Dx point of view I loved it you know and that's the thing that I never, what was it? It would be a few years later I remember thinking you know I wish I had like maybe an HT I probably would have really really really did some good work up there as well so I never did that aspect of it although I had my license in the summer, mid summer of 94 so probably going into that into those times I probably could have but there was a while too I had to avoid saying that on account of my friend Malik. That was the bank robber guy I told you about you know the red guy anyways oh oh oh oh and he was like my boosting partner meaning like we'd go to record stores and he'd just put a lot of things in his pocket. Anyway he uh he faded that whole place out he just had a lot of bad people going through there and through their hallways so. Finally I kind of sort of avoided St. Pat's because I figured they know that that's my friend and they see us together so I didn't want them to think that I was kind of shady or whatever. Later when he pulled that stunt that he did there was no mistake and they never must have me with him because I don't do that right that was the guy that one day my friend Marlin this is long after I'm not even in those areas anymore he brought me a story about how Malik he was he him and his friends were on about they need to get this money so they robbed a royal branch and Malik went in with a letter came back out flagged the cab and then that was like his last cab rise that's kind of how Marlin explained it and um somewhere during the cab rise um uh he he investigated in his his spoils his booty you know and that's when the red dye exploded and then uh I don't know while the cabbie uh uh uh flagged the cop and then that was that was sort of the end of that uh so and Malik had a million names uh used to hang around um a friend of mine uh gain but his actual name is Hakeem so and then he he had gotten into some bad stuff too like robbing people and things like that so yeah so they didn't mix me up with those people our lives had a drastic turn and I'm glad we didn't mix because I kind of work for well Metro Vision supports those schools in East Shore so technically it would be a place it would be one of my places so if I was black balls from like let's say Monarch Park it would be kind of strange because uh in in effect I still kind of I would still kind of have to be there so I'll be nuts okay I'll turn it back to you I'll turn it back to you Russ VA3KKY
