There's one UHF repeater I can hit from my house that's, I don't know, maybe 60 miles from here. But there's never anybody on the repeaters. I programmed one of my HTs with all the repeaters in the area from here down to Terry Sound and out to Matawa all the way out to Kirkland Lake. So when I'm driving I'm always trying the repeaters, trying to call in frequencies and never catching anybody back. It's crazy. HF, they run a net Sunday mornings and get in the 300, 300 meg range somewhere. But like I said, there's three of these old fellas in North Bay who get together and I got so much noise on 3 meg that it's not even worth it. So, it is what it is. Where's the VE2 guys at anyway?
