This coming Saturday, September 20th, is the Radio Club of Tacoma, as they are every morning, from 10 in the morning to a couple hours in the afternoon. I've been there a couple of times. They've got their own clubhouse that they've had for about 100 years or so. Upstairs there are two, count them, two, two, two hamshacks on the second floor. One is the contemporary, up to date, remotely accessible, high tech 21st century hamshack. Another one is what they call the museum. It's all hollow state. And on straight, keen night, it smells of hot, burning dust on the tubes. Anyway, that's the Radio Club of Tacoma. Would recommend. Also, every Saturday, including September 20th, is the Simplex net, which has been moved to 146.56. The former double nickel net, now the even numbers are boring net. And that's at 20 hours every Saturday. And it's Simplex. So there are no repeaters involved. The Lake Washington Ham Club is holding their last rain or shine gathering for 2025. And that's going to be on Saturday, September 27th, the weekend after next, from 9 in the morning to noon 30 at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville. And you can go to their website to get the particulars. I've got an address. I could read to you. I could link it to you and get a map. But I'm not going to do that. And you can find the gathering under the covered walkway with the picnic tentacles.
