Well, you know, I didn't go up on the roof with him, but basically what he did is remove the moss, and he removed it carefully too, because we had a neighbor that did it. He did it, the neighbor did it himself, and he ended up damaging some of his shingles, and so this guy was careful not to do that, and they mentioned it, and I saw how he did it. He just kind of cleared it somehow. He took some water and then he sprinkled it, and whatever, he brushed it and what have you. Like I say, I wasn't up there right when he did it, but it looks good, and I did go up there when he was just about done. And then he put a treatment on it. He mentioned that a lot of the moss stuff has, moss for a render fast, I can't think of the name of it now. It has a chemical in it. It sounds like a metal. It's corrosive, and he doesn't like to use that, so he uses stuff that's non-corrosive. But basically he cleared it off with a brush, cut it by hand, and rinsed it. He was very careful on the shingles, because like my neighbor did, he used a power washer, and he sprayed it right underneath and lifted the shingles up a bit, too much, and that's why we had some of that loose. So that created another problem he has with some of the neighbors. I know that probably doesn't really describe it very well technically, but basically he used a general approach, I guess is the best way to put it, and that includes the preventative surface, it's not corrosive. So hopefully that kind of answers your question from a non-technical point of view. KBA at BMI Mobile.
