I did it out of an intellectual challenge because at the time I was an at home dad and just changing diapers and running kids to school. And there wasn't a lot of intellectual. And my buddy Tim, KA7BBI, came to my house one time and he plopped his HT down in the middle of my table and he said, if you get your hand license I'll let you use this indefinitely until you get a radio of your own. And I passed. And I had his radio for three months until I got my own. Anyway, great to hear you Bill. I'd love to hear the stories and heal up there. That's great.
