MM0RKN returning? Well it kind of started in my teens, it started off as a bit of kind of a locked jaw and then gradually when it went into locked jaw the jaw wouldn't go back into place, the joint wouldn't lock back in and I would basically have to sit and massage it back in and it was fear agony and I had a few small procedures carried out so this is probably, must be about a ten year episode basically and actually I had a couple of procedures where they went in through keyhole surgery and tried to wash out the joint to make the movement a bit easier, I think I did about five or six of those and then they went in this final time and basically the joint completely shattered and it turned out they actually had osteoarthritis on the joints and they were basically just disintegrating so every time they were getting in it was making it worse and then in the end I had to change hospital and go and see a big specialist in one of the city's hospitals and by the time I seen him there was no option other than to take the joints away and do full replacements and I got them done around about 2011, 2012, something like that but yeah as the years went on I needed cartilage around them moved to try and make the opening better but still not great and still struggling with it, the plus side is obviously the pain level is not quite as bad as it was before I do still have quite a lot of discomfort on and off especially in the winter I'm a teeth grinder of course, I grind my teeth in my sleep and I've tried numerous braces and things to try and get me not to do that in my sleep but nothing really helps and I had my last surgery last September that was to try and alleviate things but unfortunately that has now given me nerve damage and I've lost the feeling on my tongue so I now have a numb tongue and I'm taking a load of medication for that now so every time they've tried to do something else I've ended up with a new complication and on top of that during some of these operations I've had heart attacks under anaesthetic I've had three heart attacks when I've been doing surgeries as well so I'm quite high risk now so they've kind of came to the conclusion that I won't be getting any more procedures and I'll have to just live with it as it is and I use this thing called TheraBite every day and try and do some physio with it and hang on I'll take a reset so yeah the new thing is this TheraBite that's almost like a car jack it kind of is used like a wedge to try and make it open a bit wider and it kind of works if I do this physio, it makes things a little bit easier but it's never going to be as good as their original joints were unfortunately but hey ho, it's not killed me so there we go but yeah going to the dentist can be traumatic as is having anaesthetic because not only do I have the issue with the... I hardly can get my mouth open without getting tripped down and all of this kind of thing so it's quite risky but yeah now there's some sort of reaction that I can take to anaesthetic and I'm that one person in a million or whatever that it happens to so yeah any kind of surgery now has become quite risky but yeah it's just one of these things that I've learned to live with and yeah it's probably been a problem most of my adult life like all my adult life it kind of started because I was seeing my teens and then I had the big operation and I've been in and out of hospital over the years with it but there's never been a hundred per cent solution but yeah it's as good as it's going to get now there. Anyway back to you there Gray in the net
