As you guys know from yesterday, I called that bastard mechanic again and he put me off again for another week. So I called my brother-in-law's cousin when it does all the work on their ATVs, and he had me take some pictures and send them some video and stuff, and he said, Man, I can tell why the mechanic is putting me off. He said, It's a difficult job. It involves a lot. It's very, very involved. You have to take the head off the motor because the exhaust is like JV welded to the motor, thanks to me last year. Never should have done that. But I did, and it held up for like six or seven months, and then it let go. And that's what's happening now. The exhaust is let go, but it's underneath the bracket that holds it on, so it's like rattling around. It needs gaskets. He thinks that's all it is. It needs gaskets. But in order to do that, you've got to like take the top end off the motor and disconnect the timing chain and grind all the JV weld off that I put on there last year and then get a new bracket and put that on. He said that while you're doing that, he said the studs that hold the exhaust onto the head, they might break off in the process. He said, Then you're looking at a whole bunch more work. If that happens, you've got to drill out the head and make new holes for new studs and put the new studs in. He says, A lot of work. He said he wouldn't touch it for less than a grand, and that's not even counting parts. So I got really fed up with it yesterday, and I was like ready to go out and just start flicking matches at the bike from the driveway and just see what it would ignite. But I held myself back because a flaming bike in the driveway, I think, would be a lot less valuable than it is the way it is now, which I value it right now at about between 1,000, 1,200 bucks in the condition that it's in right now. And that's why my brother-in-law's cousin said yesterday, he said, Where's about 1,000 bucks the way it is now? Let me reset.
