I had a couple of summer jobs. One was a camp counselor for a few years. Another was I worked at the switchboard at my school. I gave a lot of secrets out on it too. So did a lot of others. And then there was a few summers where I didn't get paid at all. I had volunteer jobs and that's when I got into community radio and I guest hosted and helped out on some of my favorite shows. And then that's how it was. Then where like I never got into professional broadcasting or radio because ham radio took precedence. I was like, hey yo, this is where it's at. For me at least anyways. Because it's do it yourself radio and it's learn then do it yourself radio. And everyone who gets in, they're basically a radio station. So I was like yo, this is the thing to do. And so yeah, a lot of it was in progress and steps. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven November. Yeah, mine was. All star note 6222. My dad. He ran a company up in British Columbia called Pendant Overberry. They're out of Vancouver there. And I was 13 and he says you need to get a job. And so after school he'd come home, we'd have dinner and then we'd go back up to the company and we ran sheetrock through a laminating machine. I don't even do that anymore but I did back then and I would work three or four hours every night there. That was my first job.
