I was in Montreal when it happened and I got out of there just in time. Do you remember it was snowing out and it was snowing out and we had all that snow. We had like maybe two to three feet of snow and then it turned to rain. That's what did it when we had all that rain. Then it turned into ice. It was just too much in the power lines. Boy, you know, I was the business agent. I worked for the IDW and the business agent asked me, would you like to do some work up there? We were looking for some linemen. I told them I'm an electrician. I'm not a lineman. You could forget about it. I think it was time and a half. They weren't even given double bubble at first. Then they tried to lure people in by giving them double time. But boy, you know, that would have been a lousy job because all the power lines, all over Quebec, they fell down.
