Oh yeah, I've been through two yellow labs, black lab, one other German shepherd besides the one I last had. So I had like two German shepherds that were good partners. They did their thing. One freaked out, couldn't figure out why, and then it dawned on us what happened. So the trainers had a yelling match with the person that was raising it before I got it. So I ended up taking the boy back and ended up with Addie, my beautiful girl. And she did her job up until the end with a surprise we didn't know she had. None of us knew it. And that said it was not my fault. It was just a sneaker. So, you know, I got past it. But the main thing now is to just think ahead, get another partner, keep a lookout for anything unusual. And we're adding extra tests when I get another dog so that I don't run into that same pickle.
