I mean if I kill someone in self-defense, that's manslaughter up here? Mandatory five years in prison? That's not right to me. That doesn't sound right to me at all. And if you tase someone, oh man, you're in trouble for using a prohibited weapon, you're in trouble for excessive force, assault causing bodily harm, you could set yourself up for a plethora of charges if you use a prohibited weapon against someone. Even brass knuckles. I mean if you keep a set of brass knuckles in your house just to improve your punch if someone did come in, and you knock someone up with a, well not knock them up, you knock them around or knock them out. Strange how knocking out and knocking up are two different things, huh? Ha ha ha ha. But um, yeah if you do them in by slamming them up with a set of brass knuckles, you're gonna be in a lot of trouble. And I don't think that should be the case. I really don't. I don't agree with it one bit. I mean you should be allowed to defend your home and your property and all that stuff, but not here in Canada. Nope. Police can't defend you, you know, because they, you gotta call them after the fact. So I mean if something's going on, I mean I'd use a taser if I had one. I don't care if I could get my mitts on one. I know a couple people that have got them and they carry them around their pocket. You know, here lately, they made it so that you can't even buy bear spray without filling out a whole bunch of paperwork. Because mace is not legal in Canada either, right? You can't have a can of mace in your pocket for self-defense. You've got to resort to bear spray. And now, if you use bear spray against another human, you're looking at eight to ten years in jail I think, something like that. But we've got no other choice up here. The government are putting people in positions where the people should never be pushed. You know? Your country should realize and respect the right to protect your home and family. But they really don't here in Canada. They really don't, man. And I don't get it one bit. But if someone can help me understand it, boy, I tell you, I'd love to hear an explanation. But you guys have got it good down in the States. I mean, gun crimes might be less in Canada. Let me reset.
