It's got the J-Pole John J-Pole set up on a light stand in the garage with the cables I've been using previously that I know work. I might drag out a ladder and climb up to the peak of the roof with this set up since I know this one works. And see if at least the positioning of the antenna out there will work to get in and out of the net. But we'll see. That would involve putting socks on. Anyhow, just chilling here at the house thinking about radios and whether or not I want to try and find an adapter. I have an issue with the bottom of the J-Pole. The cable I bought is a 50 foot cable. It went from SMA mail to N-type mail which doesn't exactly work in the bottom of the J-Pole super well. So I need an adapter for that end as well because Jack was nice enough to loan me an SMA adapter and hook in my little HT here. But now I've got to get another adapter. So I think it's high time that I go and buy an adapter kit like you've got there. So anyhow, just thinking on that and listening to the net. Throw it back to you. Thanks for running the dance, KJ7WQI.
