We could see the other side of the lake and it doesn't stink outside. So about 69 degrees right now, a bit of a breeze though. It's kind of brisk out there that makes it seem really cool. But anyway, today's task is to finish swapping radios in the vehicles. I used to have the Yaesu 8900 in the Traverse and I'm not sure which model of an icon it was in the Volvo, but since that's only a two meter radio whereas the Yaesu is a dual band and we're leaving the Traverse here and just bringing the Volvo back to Seattle for the winter and I wanted that other radio in there so the separation kits are exactly the same so I didn't have to change any wiring. But I did have to make a new bracket to hold the Yaesu in the Volvo. The old one didn't quite fit. The two heads are just, I mean they're close, but they're just a little different and things were in the wrong place so I had to make a new bracket there. But I still have the radio to install now, the radio part in the Traverse. So that will get that finished off today now that it's cool enough to go outside and do something. And so that's about all that's going on here. Skiing's over for the season, but the boat's still in the water. Jane's daughter and maybe her husband are going to come visit. Jane's daughter has a business conference in San Francisco on the same weekend as a salmon run. So darn it. Anyway, she'll be out to come to that weekend and spend some time with us.
