That's an interesting question Jack. The very first radio that I ever installed in my car was an HF radio. It was a SBE34, a tri-band of 20, 40, and 15. Is that right? 40, 20, and no 75. I don't know what it was. But anyway, it was an HF and a Webster band spanner on the back of my 65 Pontiac LeMans convertible. I have no idea how long it took me to install that. I knew my way around the car pretty well because I knew how the seats and everything came out of it. So that was not a big deal running Coax to the back. Back in those days it was easy to get to the battery. It was right up in front. Anyway, that was my first radio in my 65 Pontiac LeMans convertible. It was really a weird looking rig with that big Webster band spanner on the back of a convertible. K7, PDZ.
