Catastrophically injured, the pterosaurs, they plunged into the surface of the lagoon, drowned in the storm-driven waves, and quickly sank to the bottom where they were rapidly buried by these fine muds that were stirred up by the snow. And this rapid burial allowed for preservation seen in the fossils. This is repeater station kilo kilo kilo kilo kilo. This is a big lucky one and lucky two which only have two days or weeks old. Many times there are many other small, very young pterosaurs in those particular lines phones. Preserved the same way, but without obvious evidence of skeletal trauma.
