And pterosaurs, they had incredibly lightweight skeletons. They're hollow, thin-walled bones. They're basically ideal for flight, but terrible for fossilization. And the odds of preserving one are pretty slim at most. And finding a fossil that tells you how the animal died is even much rarer.
