In over the last two years scientists have been debating about a planet captured in data by the James Webb Space Telescope on whether surface conditions on this planet K2-8 are conducive for life on maybe, or maybe the planet is actually harboring life. They're not quite sure which, if either. Some scientists that have been studying the planet claim they have spotted DMS on the planet, so this is on that whole sol side.
