South America they've actually had some extreme cold for that part of the world that they would consider extreme cold. They had a polar anticyclone which brought this cold spell into South America and at Chile and Argentina they had temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees Celsius below average so it was it was very very cold for a while there so that's unusual and they also had some higher elevation snowfalls of course that was associated with it with those snows in Patagonia and parts of the Andes and of course the cold spell does have widespread impacts. In Argentina the cold affected natural gas distribution and that led to the temporary closure of some businesses and schools and public buildings in order to conserve gas and farmers in central Chile and northern Patagonia they reported crop damage due to some of these froths because don't forget it's getting into the spring planting season in some of these places there so it was unusually cold. Let me drop it.
