So let's see what's been happening here. I haven't been on for a while. I have a 70 centimeter foldable yagi from Chameleon Antenna. It does come with a pistol grip. You can hold it there horizontally or vertically polarized. It will fit standard tripod camera mounts with standard threading. So I use that right specifically for DMR work. I do quite a bit of the DMR nets up in this area. And it does great into the local repeater, which I use most of the time for this net. So very happy with the forest. Definitely want to take it out in the field someday and maybe try a fox hunt or something and see how it works out there. Also looking to upgrade SDR, software defined radio. We've got those RTL SDR sticks, dongles, whatever they are. And I thought well let's move up to one of those stand alone boxes, possibly an SDR play series.
