I'm new to playing radio. I've been playing radio ever since I've been a little girl. I'm 64. I just got my technician license back in April. I'm fixing to go to a hamfest up in the DFW area in a couple of weeks and take my general. I live with my dad. My husband and I retired two years ago. We lost my mom four years ago. Just one of those strong-willed kids that do not want to see my dad have to suffer and go into a care home. My dad's been an avid ham operator for a long time.
