Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what you want to do. You want to get, you want to do wires X and you want to attach it to your computer, which you have to do that anyways. So your radio is already registered since you have an FT-5. You download the software, you connect everything to your computer, but then you need, you can go direct off of that thing if you want to from your radio to your computer and it will give you all the regular fusion channels. But it won't give you YSF or the other. It just gives you wires X channels. So what exactly are you afraid of registering? It's no big deal. I registered years ago and you don't even bother me. So back to you.
