It's unbelievable. So you don't have to stick to a digital mode if you go all star, you can use analog and still get digital. Or you can get something fancy. That AnyTone radio, I owned that radio for about a year. Actually, I had two of them, one for me, one for my wife. It's a good radio. It's not a bad radio, but it does have its quirks. And I eventually sold it and got away from it. And it just wasn't for me. But do I have any recommendations of a particular radio? Well, mine are all pretty expensive other than the FT-70. There's some excellent radios out there. Depending on what you want to do, I'd sway one way or the other. And I could go on for that for 15 minutes. So anyways, just do what you want. Have fun. I like Gray's suggestion. Gray had a good suggestion. You get a clearedode with a mobile radio. They have a new mobile radio. It's FT-150. And then you get the clearedode with it. It all comes in one package. But it's an expensive price. It's $1,000. But you could set that up, put an antenna on your rear. And then you could stay on All Star or whatever else you want to do, because it works exactly the same way. You could keep it on analog, which that FT-150 is analog. But still, try every moda or every moda and find out what you like the most. And you're your own repeater. So you could leave. Depending on where you live, you could have a radius of, let's say, 20 miles from your house and be able to get on there and talk to people. And it's all you, baby. You're in control. Anyhow, that's it. Back to that control, KB. 0MAI. Comment and question. VL1U Casey.
