Yeah, so they're proprietary Those pop-in chargers you know they're big and only one radio fits in each one I've a few radios now That use USB-C charging and the other one that I'd recommend I don't think you can get it anymore, but it's the MML radio 8811 and the 8811 the thing I like about that one it has a huge color screen on it it Has an extremely loud speaker a nice bassy speaker and the battery is absolutely massive On it and again it charges with type C. So there's lots of Chinese radios out there Some are really good and some are just you get what you pay for it or really bad So I wouldn't go with a starter HT with a bowfang UV fiber That's what everybody goes with and the filtering in those radios is crap the front end is crap You get any interference in your area from anything static interference. You're gonna hear it on a bow thing at least on the uv-5 But on the quan shang the filtering is much better. You don't get intermittent static crashes and interference opening up your squelch and Just Don't use a bowfang radio to make a node. That's the other thing you want to make a node Use something else a mobile radio hooked up to an external antenna would be your best option You know one UKZ hopefully that helps. I know it's a lot But if you've got any follow-up questions, I'd be more than happy via one UKZ
