I wanted to answer Dee's question. There's been other suggestions on here, but I haven't heard this one. Windlink does exactly what she wants. It involves a computer program, Windlink, and they have one for a cell phone, though, that works. With that, you can transmit a message on the amateur radio internet text. It's actually an email. You can send an email to her husband and it will go over Windlink. That can be converted to a text. That's another option. I use that a lot myself. You don't need a connection to the internet at all to do that. You can just do it through ham radio. Back over to you there, Josh. This is N0BF. Thanks.
