VA3, I have to be another eject Campbell here and yeah I want to do another report. I was looking into repeaters as well and I need my upgrade with my license. I only have my basic with honors which means I have access to UHF and VHF and all of the VHF amateur bands. And I need my advance to build repeaters and I've been self-studying for the advance for the last few months and been really onto it recently. I think for the last week I've been studying and studying and studying. Trying to get out as fast as I can without really stressing myself from it. But I've been taking breaks and that's always a good thing to do. But I saw this interesting thing where they used two Motorola radios and sandwiched them together and used an RJ45 cable, Ethernet cable and rewired it into a sound card. And I'm like, well why is he doing that? He's using Austerlink as a repeater controller and Austerlink has a repeater mode which I was very interested about. And yeah, I've also been looking at duplexers as well. And there's that local guy in my club who actually built his duplexers and got them tuned. He also knows how to tune them and he has a lot of spare duplexers. He has a lot of duplexers. He has a whole shed of them. And also a storage unit of functional duplexers he built 20 plus years ago. And yeah, that's really interesting. So let's see if I can reach out to him and go take a look and maybe learn a little bit more about them. I'm interested in how they work, how you can monitor two frequencies by just using whatever is inside. And I also, a few other days ago, well I think yesterday I did a report on these Cametronix boxes, hardware or package controllers. I'm not exactly sure what they are. And I still have been wondering what they are. And online doesn't really have much of an answer. But if anyone knows, let me know. And the reporter yesterday recommended something but I didn't quite catch it. But yeah, I'm going to hand it back now and thanks for taking my reach out to the 83 FBM document.
