Well good morning evening or whatever it is you call whatever this is my name is Mike I was on here last night for a little while anyway, just found this repeater and It's I get a lot better reception when I am leaving work than when I'm closer to home But that's because I work in coal and live near Tacoma But anyway nice to meet you all it's been good listening to you Hopefully my signals coming in good. It's usually kind of little empty where I'm at I'm just climbing out of the Tide flats near the Tacoma mall right now, so that is what it is, but anyway, I've been a ham for quite a few years haven't had any radios for a while for a long while and I just decided you know what it's about time I get some radios and I bought a couple one for my truck one for my house I wasn't happy with the one in the house, so I bought another one for the house and this one Yes, you nine nine one alpha so I can do some HF stuff. I haven't played in in that sandbox yet, so Learning all I can about that I am a general working on my extra and Right now. I'm building a ham shack out of a shed that the Live on managed property so I own the house I rent the land So they give everybody a shed and I'm turning that into my little ham shack last weekend I I got a free desk. It was just a free to a good home kind of deal, and it's a rather large desk I had to take the Door off the hinges just to get it into the shed that was that was a little bit of an adventure, but yeah I'm working on it and hopefully here soon I'll be able to talk to you from there So I don't bother the people in the house late at night when they want to sleep, and I'm still wide awake anyway K1m dr.
