Well, good morning there Bill and everybody out there today. Yeah, we've got 72 degrees here at Deer Lake already, but it's smoky today. We've got an air quality index of 130. And just stepped outside, ooh, it is smelling really strong of smoke, so not much wind either. A little bit more wind today, the last couple of days have been just really, really stagnant here. But today at least there's a little bit of ripple on the lake, so maybe blow this stuff out of here. But those two or three big fires up at the north end of Stevens County here are really wreaking havoc on the air quality down here. Yesterday, I was flying around on mostly 20 meters, worked, I don't know, maybe four or five parks on the air. And then just for the giggles of it, it was kind of slowing down on 20, I kind of poked around some of the other bands and I don't spend a whole lot of time on the new, I call them the new work bands. But I got on 17, there were just only three stations on 17 meters, a CW station and a single sideband station and I was able to work. It's my very first contact ever on 17 meters. So that was fun. But there was another station on there working FT8. It's called W7VAS. Anyway, I hope you had fun though, Bill. I did see you on there, but I don't do FT8, so I couldn't even begin to try and work here. Anyway, that's what's happening here. So everybody have a good one. This is Jim and Jane at Deer Lake, K7, PDZ.
