So this is an Well, I guess it's an in and out And yeah, well on the earlier thing since I heard the some of the subjects then I Education didn't do squat for me getting that piece of paper didn't mean Anything I still end up having to Line up for a job opportunities and it wasn't even because of that that I got in it was lucky that Mainly My Late cousin Trevor he died Two summers ago, but when when he was alive He had a lot of influence with the school system and that's how I got in that way and he had a job with the Institute of the Blind in LA I kind of started there for a while too and then managed kilo kilo seven November Because of my work background that I built there managed to get my job at the school I work at Almost where I live not quite where I live but close enough. I can walk to it, but Education didn't have anything to do matter of fact. I didn't even get that piece of paper. I dropped out and I got to see On the dropout part of it One aspect where a lot of my friends graduated I knew even people that went to as an NIB the National Institute of Broadcasting and They're podcasters. They're not podcasters. They never got in that way getting that piece of paper doesn't mean squat So it's overrated in the first place. I Kind of honestly got the impression jobs were chance Opportunity connections You can have everything that it takes and you're still not going to cut it and there's one extra layer that guarantees that at least for me and That is when you're disabled because People can scream all they want about equality It's not the real world Ain't nobody trying to hire a blind person unless they really have to and it's the same with anything else and they have They have ways to skid around it lawyers to talk them through it. And so that's the real world It sounds good on paper Like we're gonna you know, make all those Disabled people are productive. We're gonna get them their schooling but hiring and being in the world I Doesn't have anything to do with it not jack shit That's one of the things Like I like a blind school says that they give you the living skills to be in the real world But they're not in the real world with you and They always flaunt that whole thing. They always taught that whole thing of the real world to you because there really is a big difference No Stay able-bodied because once something happens to you you start learning via the actual real realities when you step into it, so Education doesn't always cut it some of the best people that have their favorite job Sometimes they're just scrubs. They ain't got no background or anything so Often times to people that make it or people that get the opportunities or people you hate or the people you least expect That will do that. So Hey, look if it works for you, that's great To congratulations, you're like a man you're like a minority the majority of people are ones where Just because you run the track and Just because you do the sit-ups That's not that Nobody's patting you on the back for it.
