I was in in the 80s and 90s. The tail end of the 80s and I left in 97. When I was leaving they went through a big program to reduce the size of the force. And then for a long time they were having issues recruiting. The outraged police and politically correct police, you know, now if a girl can have her hair long, so can a guy. And if a guy can do this, so can a girl. But oh, we have to lower the standards. And a whole lot of that happened. And it just knocked the military for crap if you ask me.
