Well, I must stand corrected. I do remember hearing you. I believe it was yesterday or the day before. But welcome to the net and welcome to the hobby. New tech, that's really cool. And you're very lucky you have an Elmer. I did not have one. But I tell you what, ICOM 5100 times 2 and ICOM 7300. If you're not on the air, at least you should be listening to that ICOM because it's a heck of a radio. And it's called the shack in the box, right? Not a jack in the box but a shack in the box because it does it all including the six meters. It's really, really cool. It doesn't do, let's see, it doesn't do 50. It does two meters. But anyway, yeah, welcome to the hobby. It's really, really good having you as a fellow ham and a neighbor. And enjoy the net and we love having you especially the new ones. Yeah, we absolutely do. And I will correct that in your callsign in the log. Kilo, Romeo, Ford, Delta, X-ray Charlie, welcome to the net and please come again as often as you can. Speaking of coming again often, we've got a recheck from Phil, K0, Outer Banks, OBS. Good morning to you again. This is repeater station Kilo, Kilo, Hi, Robert. Thanks for taking my recheck. So the dirty hairy fly that I'm tying, it's tied in the same style as a Clouser minnow which means you tie lead eyes onto the hook on the opposite, on the shank on the opposite side from the hook itself. So it forces the fly to ride hook up in the water and so it gives it a natural weedless property. Well, there's no fly that's weedless but it gives you less chance of getting hooked. But you can fish this like a minnow by stripping it through the water or you can fish it like a shrimp by jigging it through the water. Or you could throw it and let it sit on the bottom like a crab and twitch it now and then. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it. It sounds like a really versatile fly. I haven't fished this particular fly but it sounds like a good one. And I'm also taking, it's a 30 inch tube I'm flying. It packs down, rod packs down into a 30 inch tube so it will fit into my carry, into my check baggage. And yeah, I'm also going to bring a 20 watt radio. I brought it out there last year. I had a lot of fun. I just put a, stuck a piece of PVC in the sand, a sand spike and I put up a, it was actually a crappie rod that I bought. So I was hanging five meters of wire off of that and I threw my counter pulleys in the drink so I had the infinite ground plane. You know, I had good reception right there on the beach. So yeah, that's what I'm doing. That's what I'm doing at the end of the month. Thanks for taking the Ray Check, Robert. K0OBX back to you.
