No Mel, I'd say it's probably better known as Santa Mel these days. I know you as PBW. Puts very well. But I'd say the majority of people that are on this net now just know you as Santa Mel, man. And I play Santa once a year myself here on the radio. And that's coming up in a few months. I have a blast doing that. This will be the fifth year that I've played Santa for our Christmas Eve. A special event. And looking forward to it. Jeanette is going to do net control again this year. And hopefully we'll have Bill helping out in the background. As well as Dave and myself. Jeanette's husband Mike has helped out in the past few years. It's been a great time. And looking forward to doing that on Christmas Eve. Every time we get a few months, just a few months before, I start to get excited about that one. I got Mel, I got Kevin, VA3KKY. Top of the list, man. Good morning to you. How's everything going with you this morning? Hey, not bad at all. A funny thing happened with Echo Link a little bit earlier when I tried to log on. It gave me this section for data and then it just made me wait almost like forever. Like 10 minutes or something. Then it finally let me in. At that point, once I got in, I heard you and then I heard Josh. So yup, I heard about lending money. I heard about paying your creditors. And I heard about Trump taking another dump. And all stuff like that there. I heard about your Bluetooth woes. Well, so I'm kind of checking on the opposite side of the net because I just woke up late. I did not wake up at all this morning for the pre-net or any part of it. Next thing I knew, it was like somewhere in the middle of the 8 o'clock hour. So I thought maybe I would get in before you get to your HBs, your heartbreaks, which I would imagine at 9.30 am you should be animal hairs away from it. So, see if I can get in. I wanted to say, even the short time that I got on last night and the idiot that brought in his link or whoever it was, interrupted the Q-SO, it was a fun Q-SO. I hope to have it again. It was somebody talking to me about West Coast Canada and some parts of the West Coast California. And it was a very good conversation because the guy knew what he was talking about. He was talking about specific locations. We talked about Siri BC and Quebec Street and Vancouver and the PNE. He mentioned things about the bay. Although there I told him that's more where you would want to talk to my parents. They know some of those areas better. Or, ostensibly, because you know the deal, you would talk to my parents. Because in a big chance, you can't. But, yeah, mom used to go to all those places all the time. As I mentioned about Pollock Pines and then I joked about how they're... Well, this is where I was starting to get disconnected. Because then I started to have trouble with my phone. My blind shell is stupid when you get on All-Stars. And the buttons jam up sometimes. And if they jam up, you can't untangle it. You have to hang up and call back. It's just the stupid touch tones on the phone. They tend to shoot wild, if that makes any sense. I don't know if that happens on other phones. But, yeah, you could press the keypads and they'll flow for a while. Like, one, two, three, one, two, three. But then something happens where it just starts hitting wild keys. And it won't stop. Right? And I got into a situation already almost with All-Stars because of it. Because it was dialing wild. It was starting to go into my passcode field and starting to doodle around in there. I'm like, get out of there! Because I could walk myself out and I can't get back in. And it's the phone doing that. It's hitting F and ghost buttons. So that's what I deal with with the touch tones on the blind shell. So, honestly, I almost totally hate using it for ham radio. But I never learn, so I'm using it to talk to this guy. And I'll do it again because I'm stupid. But anyways, so in the process I was interrupted somewhere and then I got on the computer. Like the one I'm on right now, the laptop. And then I was fine until some idiot came in blasting. But I was just about hairs away from telling him that this big joke that all my family has that you can hear the bay if you're in Sacramento as long as you stand on the ceiling and you rub your head a few times with a rubber slipper or something like that. Or another way is you scotch tape the antennas to a certain angle on the table where it comes in better. So that's how we pick up that gay ass station KMEL. Because you know I like the rap stations. But that station Cole Lane. It was better than it used to be. But it's Cole Lane now because now all those stations trying to be like hot 97. And the big joke about that is people call it hot crappy seven. So like Houston, like the bay, like Toronto, if you have like a black station, it's probably wiggety whack because it's all this corporate crap. It's like Drake all day. It's like 21 Savage all day. Nothing retro for the old heads. I guess they like to say OGs. I don't want anyone calling me an old gangster, thank you very much. That's what it means. That's what OG means. But young people seem to think it's like a badge. They don't think that there will be people insulted about it. I am not an old gangster and I don't appreciate you calling me that. But anyways, yeah, they don't have things for the OGs like the good old music that I know personally you like. It's all this mumble crap and other stuff. Who would be proud of making mumble music and call it what it is? Like you're telling people you're mumbling. So you don't have talent to be a lyricist. You have talent to mumble. And you tell people about it? I don't get it. So it's all that stuff on the black stations, right? But yeah, I was going to joke about how we hear the bay in Sacramento. Not very well. But anyways, System seems to be okay. Echo Link seems to be okay. I haven't gotten kicked yet. So I wanted to give you a quick... I don't know how quick it was when I talked to us now. People say I'm on coffee. It's true. But I wanted to give a quick one and done and hope you have a great day. And I'll try to look for you guys tonight. Let's not have a repeat of last night though. Okay, alright, take care. VA3KKY. Back to you, Darryl Rowe.
