There's new news on the throttle body episode. I thought I had put that one to bed when I cleaned it, but as it turned out, there was a fault. And it was unbeknownst to me whether it was in the throttle body at all or whether it was in the accelerator pedal. So I started with the throttle body, and I went to O'Reilly's, and I got a throttle body, put the new one in, and it just started throwing codes for everything under the sun. The trailer circuit, the electronic brake circuit, clearly it's the wrong one, although I cross-checked the part list and it shows that it's the right one, but it's clearly not. So anyway, I took that one out eventually, but in the meantime, then I got the accelerator pedal and brought that home, put it on, only to find out that the actual pedal itself was sticking up in the air in a way such that you couldn't use your heels to plant and then use your ball or your feet. It was just up in the air. It would have been very dangerous to try to drive it that way. I subsequently learned that it was designed for a truck with power pedals, which I don't have. Let me reset real quick.
