Good evening, Joan. The weather has been kind of unsettled over the last few days. We've had sunshine. We've also had lots of rain off and on. We had a couple of fronts come through here. We had fairly strong winds for this time of year. It cooled off temperatures north of here. This past Saturday we had a water spout. We had spots that happened occasionally on the Gulf Coast. This one got close enough to land that it actually blew around some umbrellas and some beach chairs. We had some people running for cover, but I don't think anybody really got hurt. Of course, we're just feeling good that so far we've had a relatively mild and uneventful tropical season as we get into September. So we're just holding our breath to see if we can get through this. The thing is predicting that we're going to have a lot of union this year. Normally we have warmer than normal winters. We also go wetter. Occasionally we've had the stoves lining and we've also had freezes that are already cold front coming down and dropping everything into below normal temperatures. Then we go away. Then December feels like April. Last year, just past winter, we had snow for the first time in a year. That was interesting. We'll just have to see what happens. We've been mostly doing a little bit of radio and got to hang out with some neighbors today. We kind of shocked the breeze. It's in between the raindrops. Other than that, it was pretty uneventful. So that's all I have this time around, John. Thanks for hosting it. Happy Labor Day to everybody. Hope everybody enjoyed that. Had their silver barbecue and whatever else floats your boat on Labor Day. That can last a little bit. 73 KFIWYB.net
