Good afternoon Kirk and everybody on the net. This is Dean KG70DB. Yeah, it's like a lot of people seem to have fun with that second letter in there. Is it a G or is it a J? And yeah, I guess my call sign is kind of a nightmare just because it's got all these D's and B's. Like if I'm not doing phonetics like on HF, it's just really hard to get through. But you know, I've had it for so long that I always tell people when I'm helping with ham radio classes, if you want to get a vanity call sign, do it soon. After a few years it starts to become a little bit harder. So anyway, other than that, also interesting Labor Day, they have a holiday for workers but everybody gets the day off. It's kind of like having a food appreciation day and yet everybody fasts. You know what I mean? So yeah, it's been an interesting couple of days. I won't go over the whole story but I've mentioned on the last couple of nets that yesterday the underside of my car had a mishap with an object on the ground and my oil pan was punctured. So I lost all the oil in my car and it's now towed over to my mechanic and I'll have him look at it tomorrow or at his convenience next week and see if my engine was damaged during this whole, even though it was only for like a minute, it can really damage your engine if you drive it at all after you lose all your oil and the lights go on. So the oil light went on. But yeah, it's making me sort of supercharge my search for a new car. I've been planning on getting something different for a while so I might have to do it sooner than I was expecting. But I've gotten used to renting cars for longer trips. Like when I go down to visit my sister in Portland, especially during the winter, I'll just rent a car and I've found ways of doing that. Because there aren't too expensive. I go through the Costco car rental launch program, whatever that's called. Anyway, hope everyone's enjoying their Labor Day. This is KG7 ODD back to net.
