Come ahead, how are you? VA3F, Dan Campbell in Northwestern Ontario and I'm doing quite well. I got a new order to do a video yesterday about a friend of mine from Idaho. I bought a Motorola CM300 in the VHF band and I got it for quite a good deal. I got it for $100 USD and that came out to $141 CAD. The amount is to take $20 off. He's had it for sale for around 5 months now. I said I'm starting on $80 USD but he sent me everything. He sent me the programming software, the GPS, the programming cable, the microphone. The only thing I did not get was the antenna and the power cable. Now I did order a power cable off of Amazon but I do need to get an antenna. He did send me a antenna too. I don't know what it's called. It's common on the UHF and VHF videos but that connector. So I've just been looking at an antenna and I don't know which one I get. I really want to get an antenna with a low SWR reading. It's probably going to go all out of an antenna. It has to be mountable. It's probably a mobile antenna I can just place outside the window. I'm doing that for All Star Link. I'm using a Kenwood TMD7 to get into All Star Link. My HT is a Bao thing, DM1701 that goes into the Kenwood and when the Kenwood goes into All Star Link. It seems to function well and I've been doing that since I got All Star Link. But I haven't been doing much today. Back to school really soon. Back to school September 3rd. That's a Wednesday. I'm quite confused why we're going back on a Wednesday. Turns out since it was a holiday and a PD day which means I have the day off. I don't know what the full name about it is.
