Okay, so I'm driving along and I make this left turn. I make the wrong left turn and I go into this cul-de-sac. And there's a whole bunch of construction going on. It's right near 145th and I-5. As I drive out of this cul-de-sac, I drive and I mean I know I did the wrong thing. Have you ever seen where they're doing construction and they'll be like this manhole or like a plumbing duct? There's kind of the concrete has been excavated around it. Well, I drove a little closer to it than I should have. And I immediately heard this sound as I drove over it. I'm like, oh no, that didn't sound good. And so about 15 seconds later, I hear this beeping sound and the oil light goes on. I immediately knew that I had clipped the oil pan at the bottom of my car. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November Quebec November. All star note 16C2. Located in Shelton, Washington. I find a place to park, but basically I ruined my oil pan. So all the oil came out of my car and I called AAA. Well, I used an app. Now there's an app and they came there like half an hour and took my car to my mechanic. Obviously, they're not there. It's a weekend. But anyway, I'm sitting here thinking, God, my car is a 2001 Jetta. It has all these problems. And I'm really thinking that this is the end for this car. But my real question, and Robert, maybe you can answer this question. In the few seconds before I pulled over, I could feel that the power of the car was diminishing. There's like no oil in it. And what I'm wondering is I don't want to spend $700 or $800 for a new oil pan and then find out that my engine is also fried. So anyway, I guess it's something I should talk to my mechanic about. Anyway, very interesting day. Hopefully this isn't too much of a rant. I know everybody wants to relax on this Labor Day weekend. But anyway, that's what I got. KG70GB.
