Okay, rest in peace Fat Man Scoops, would you believe we're coming around to a year when suddenly I got a phone call in the middle of the night from my man Darren that said you know that, you know Fat Man Scoops collapsed on stage. He was in Connecticut doing a show and it was this weekend because it would be just today. It would be right today. Alright because he died on Saturday night August 31st. So it was right this morning he called and he said check out the other podcast too see if they say anything about it. So I was scrambling right. Ed Lover, he didn't say nothing but I have Juan Epstein in my podcast list. He did a nice show about it, a few nice shows. He came on with B.J. Riz and they had reminiscences so rest in peace Fat Man Scoops. There's a few people that died around this time frame so I'll give them a mention. Rest in peace to Rock Raider from the Executioners, Executioners All Day, X-Men! And rest in peace to the super rocking Mr. Magic, real name John Reavis. He died in October 2nd in 09. So a lot of fallen pioneers, oh and recently he died in the last couple of weeks. Rest in peace to Hitman Howie T. Alright he was a big hip hop producer. He produced the rock Sands, he produced Chop Rock, Lower to the Underground, tons of heads. Escapes me right now but he was in there with tons and tons and tons of tons of magic so rest in peace Hitman Howie. Not sure what he passed up but we're losing the pioneers so salute to the pioneers also. Rest in power to Fight Dog from A Tribe Called Quest, rest in power to Guru from Gang Star and rest in power Mr. C. He's still, to me he's Kane's DJ. Some people he might be a Hot 97 extraordinaire but to me he's Kane's DJ. And yeah in 2016, 2017 he got arrested a bunch of times for soliciting trannies on the PQW. They got him on tape and then he resigned for a short time on Hot 97 but then he was rehired there again. But he's one of the guys, see now no matter what there's people that have careers started from him because Peter Rosenberg and Cypher Sounds, they were hired on to Hot 97 as kind of the token underground show and Mr. C is responsible for that. Mad love Mr. C, he passed away as well a few years back. So he's a great guy, oh and everybody's dying man. Rest in peace to the biz, make the music the biz. See it used to be like, you would know maybe one or two people that have passed. Now as we get older it's like everybody's passed, damn. Let's see, we are still waiting for anyone else that want to get on this last list and then I'll pull it back to the top and I think we're ready. So if you want to get it on the last list, come now.
