Good evening Bill and everybody on the net and of course Rich if you're listening and hi Cami and Robert and Andrew. It's great having after the Stanwood ham fest having dinner with you or late lunch. So anyway, so you just said let's go back to the northwest from Arlington where the previous Bill was. Well when Bill was giving his check in, I mention this many times when he checks in, you know my father lived, spent the last several years of his life in Arlington Virginia and I swear it's like right like the same like it could possibly be the same building even because the way Bill describes this, you can see the Iwo Jima monument. I just remember, so in the summer, I would sometimes sleep out there because it would be really hot and it would be, well in the evening it would kind of cool off a bit but I'd be out on his balcony and there'd be a cot out there. But interesting, I remember one time sleeping out there, it was like this beautiful evening but like in the middle of the night this massive lightning storm came by for about a couple hours. It was pretty amazing but yeah sitting out there and watching the planes flying in, in and out of a national airport was pretty cool. So anyway coming back to the northwest, I almost heard, well I heard Robert, KJ7JXM on the Simplex net tonight as he checked in. I mean I couldn't make him out but I could hear the signal but the net controller, Dan and Jeff, they were able to pick him out so that was really cool that he checked in. So yeah Simplex net, a lot of fun. So anyway I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Labor Day weekend. I hope everyone gets an extra day on Monday. So KJ7ODB, back to net.
