Yeah QSL, that's actually the sentiment for a lot of people right because it was cooking for so long people are now taking their oh finally some cooler weather it's actually been good we've been out kayaking with the dogs it's been good weather for they've been good for the dogs a little cool for my taste for being on the water but for the dogs is perfect they're not panting or cooking or anything like that so it's it's good and I can wear a UV shirt and they're not sweating through it but yeah so definite change and it's also helped the forest fire situation in particular in Eastern Canada and it has also helped the drought situation it slowed the rate of evapotranspiration from the land the Sun is still out there still intense you still have dry air but there was rain and cloud cover associated with with the ridge of high pressure coming down and there was actually lake effect showers the number of water spouts I think there's been at least 22 water spouts reported over the course of the past week across the Great Lakes and that was due to the unstable air mass it was largely dominated by a ridge but within the ridge there were a couple sort of pockets of low pressure and that that provided enough vertical instability that over the Great Lakes there were lake effect thunderstorms and rain showers and those those produced some water spouts and it also produced lake effect rain which helped areas that were downwind of that
