Another thing about those tires is they're noisy. I lived right next to a highway. I was maybe 70 feet from the highway, level with it, because the highway was about 30 feet off the ground. And one window in my apartment. And I'll tell you, you could hear in the wintertime when they not even studded tires, just using snow tires would make such a racket, because cars are going 60, 70 miles an hour, and making that noise because of the tires. And in the summertime, it's nice and quiet because everybody's got those tires on. But the studded tires, I think they messed up the roads. I think that's why they outlawed them for a while. In the state of Connecticut, you couldn't have them for, I mean, in the 60s you could have them. I think in the 70s they banned them for some reason. I think it was because of the roads.
