of a Larry Lamour book, every western he ever wrote he'd go to give a little start up of something that happened back in the west, you know, it was real, it was what people lived through every day, you know, a common occurrence. And he called it the polar fog. And of course there's no roads or just that or the other, but the fog would come in, it'd be so cold it would freeze everything and put a heavy glaze on it. And it was some of the worst times for pioneers back then because it was so easy for them to fall down and break their leg or something like that. And they were pioneers, they were out and going nowhere, there's no hospitals, there's no doctors. And so they tend to stay home during these icy days. But we were getting a chance, Larry Lamour is a pretty cool guy.
