I just had a thought there as I let it reset. On Friday night, one of my friends in the bike scene that I saw made on Friday said, hey, I invited him to the show, to the root show, and he didn't want to come. He said he had other plans. He goes, are you going to go to the Questlove DJ set? And I said, the Questlove DJ set? I wouldn't miss it. So I went on a bike ride Friday night there, the famous Friday night ride in Portland. Then I went about midnight or 1230 AM to the Questlove DJ set at Jack London's Youth where I again was front row amongst a crowd of like 200 people. It was crazy. Now here's one of the absolute highlights. After the show got over, 10 years ago I met Questlove in this similar scenario where I waited outside of the venue after his DJ set. I got a photo with him in November of 25 in Denver, Colorado. Well, I aimed to do the same thing this past weekend. And I did get a photo with a begrudgingly unthrilled Questlove on Friday night. They took off in the town car, went around the corner. I chased them up the hill on the Brompton. He's staying at the Ritz-Carlton downtown Portland. And I yelled out, Amir, can I have an autograph? And he yelled back at me. He's like, yo dog, why are you calling me Amir? My name is Questlove. I guess you never can win. KI7 UES.
