And a year later I went back and did it again. This was 1979 and 80. That's one of the things I can remember when I did it because we had a daughter that was born while I was at ground school. I remember being in a ground school and getting a message that my wife was going into the hospital to have a baby and I remember getting out of the fight school or ground school and jumping on my motorcycle and racing back to town and going to the hospital. So that's when I got my license. 1981 right in there. Boy, I'll tell you what, I went back, I looked into going back and getting current and going and doing it. If you were in a check ride, I guess you've got to do nowadays in a couple of years, which is not a bad thing. I seriously considered doing that. Boy, a lot of change that we navigation is changed in airspace. It all changed and I thought, well, I'm not going to sit down and learn all that right now. I probably won't have enough money to fly.
