I got into it kind of, I've always been interested, I had an alcohol in the Navy that was into it. But I became a pilot and the radio that I had in the plane was amateur radio and air band. And I knew I had to have license to do the ham radio so I said, I'll always get a license. So I looked into it, they had that one day course test and I took it and then continued on from there. And then I worked with my son's Boy Scout troop for a while. I got half his troop license, his scoutmaster license. And to this day I think only a handful of them still have their license. They all let them go. But I'm coming to you from a NodeVentures using All Star connected to the Southeast link. So there, what a round way to get there. But I tried D star, it sounded like garbage with you and I didn't want to figure out the YSF direct. But maybe next time I'll try that. But this is crystal clear and it's working great.
