Alright, yeah I'm doing this via Wires X Direct which is something I've never done. I know Echo Link works good so I have no idea if you're hearing me. So anyway, yeah, and radio. I just got into it about two years ago. I retired several years ago from a career in electrical engineering primarily for heavy industry. Years ago I did radio electronics and radar and stuff but primarily power systems like for power distribution, like for the power company. Anyway, so after being retired I got a job which I never messed with. So I studied the three books from ARRL and I like taking the tests and doing the studying. It kind of reminded me of being a youngster in school. A lot of math and stuff I did 50 years ago. I was like, oh this is cool. And I went through the three tests and then bought a radio and six months later I decided to hook up a microphone and actually use the thing. And here we are. I've only been active maybe the last year or so and I 99% of the time work HF phone mode. Anyway, that's it for me. Back to net control.
