This was a study at the University of Ottawa, and it was a team with international scientists. And they've confirmed that a major calving event occurred at Peterman Glacier in northwest Greenland. In August 4th, the glacier released the 76.4 cubic kilometer ice island, or a square ice island, which would be the largest loss, actually it's 2, 76.4 cubic kilometer ice island, which would be the largest loss of ice in 2012 in the biggest calving since 2020.
