Well, stellar streams, these are large strands of stars that are orbiting a host galaxy that are not completely uniform. Regularities are thought to be a result of dark matters influence. However, not all irregularities are the products of dark matter. Some are attributed to the effects of the host galaxy itself. Stellar streams, they're created when a group of stars are torn apart by the galaxy. And as the stars begin orbiting the galaxy, they become stretched into a long filament because of gravity. And there are over 120 of these in a Milky Way. And they are the best indirect sources for the search for dark matter evidence, is dropping. The irregularities in these strands were where they bend or break are believed to be due to small flumps of dark matter. These are referred to as sub-halo.
