I do something similar with my power bars here, like the one from my office area, which is just a corner of my living room. It's got my computer and multiple monitors and things like that. I have on that power bar that controls all that stuff, I have a smart plug that connects to Wi-Fi. It connects to the Internet, and then there's an app. So I can set schedules where I can have all that stuff turn off at a certain time, and then turn back on and power up at a certain time. Or if these things have fuses in them, so if we're having a storm or something, I can turn off everything that's associated with it. And then if we get ducked by lightning, I'm out a little plug. Maybe that costs $10 as a fuse instead of all the gear plugged into my power bars. So I can shut all of that stuff off. Now the last time we had a really violent thunder and lightning storm, I just yanked all of that stuff. Everything got unplugged from the wall. My computer was unplugged. My office area, the home theater section, everything was completely turned off, disconnected. Because I really wasn't sure. I mean those thunder and lightning were unbelievably the worst I've ever heard in my 45 years on this planet. I say 45, but I'm 44. I'll be 45 in January, but close enough. So yeah, definitely a great way to go about things for sure. Next up we're going to Jeff, KM4, QBC. It's all you man.
